Amazing All-in-One Recycling Center

 .
Recycling in my house is a mess. Newspapers and cardboard get stacked by the door. Plastic, glass and aluminum sit beside my sink. The kids are supposedly in charge of organizing the recycling into the appropriate bins outside, but alas, the piles sit forever in despair.

If you’re like me, you probably need a Deluxe All-In-One Recycling Center by Mode. The center looks like a sleek little filing cabinet and it'll clear your recyclable clutter (and make your children sing since this thing will do their chores for them). The product should fit nicely under an extended countertop or at the end of a run in your kitchen. Standing at just 28 inches tall (16 inches wide and 17 inches deep), it doesn’t take up much space. But it sure can pack a punch - as well as other stuff you want to get rid of.

The recycling center isn’t just for organization though - there’s a little bit o’ technology in the mix as well. The top front of the container has a spherical panel programmed like an alarm clock, which will warn you when it’s time to take the recycling to the curb for pickup.

The back of the top lid opens up for you to toss in all of your recyclable plastic. Mode boasts that their plastic storage bin will hold up to a week’s worth of your plastic recycling and the bin lifts nicely for you to carry your stuff to the curb. The top front holds old magazines, newspaper and other paper to be recycled. And the front panel even has a mail slot so that you can effortlessly 86 your junk mail into the paper recycling bin.

But that’s not all…. (OK, too much TV for me). The three bins (plastic, paper and glass or other) all lift out and nestle together so that when it is time for you to toss the trash, you can lift them all at once and make just one trip.

It sounds too good to be true, and yet it is real. Going green is now a whole lot easier than just getting home solar power, so maybe if I pitch this spiel to my kids they’ll chip in for one - you think?
